Kim Carter
President of BCI.
Kim has 27 years of experience in the telecommunications business. She was born in High Point, NC. Kim married Russ Carter in 1979 and moved to Spartanburg the same year. Russ and Kim have two daughters and one granddaughter. She founded Residential Communications in 1982, changed the name to Business Communications, Inc. in 1984 at which time partnered with Russel Floyd, Gordon Floyd, Russ Carter and Randy Fitzgerald.

Executive Vice President.
Russ has over 29 years in telecommunications sales.
Born in Columbia, SC, Russ married Kim in 1979 and moved to Spartanburg, SC. Russ joined Kim at Business Communications, Inc. in 1984.
Randy Fitzgerald
Vice President of Operations.
Randy began his career as an electronics technician in 1979, then joined BCI in 1984.
He was born in Spartanburg, SC and is married to Mary with two grown sons.
Janice Hampton
Vice President of Sales.
Janice joined BCI in 1984 as a customer service representative and began a career in sales in 1989. She was born in Randleman NC and moved in Spartanburg in 1984, Janice is married to Fulton Hampton with four grown children and lives in Columbus, NC.
Paul Gagner
Service Technician.
Paul was employed by Southern Bell from 1967 to 1984 then joined BCI.
He was born in Providence, RI and moved to Rutherfordton, NC in 1962. Paul is married to Lori with three children and seven grandchildren.
Sheila Pike
Purchasing Manager.
Sheila began her career in the communications industry in 1982 and joined BCI in March of 1990.
Sheila was born in Gastonia, NC and is married to Tom with one daughter and two granddaughters.
Tim Steadman
Service Technician
Tim began his 25 year career in telecommunications in 1984 and joined our team in September 1993.
He was born in Inman, SC and has one daughter
April Barnes
Customer Service Representative.
April first joined BCI as our CSR in 1989, she left to be a stay at home mom only to re-join the BCI sales team in 2007 and is currently our Customer Service Representative.
She was born in Spartanburg, SC and has two daughters.
